Dorothy D. Burket

Dorothy D. Burket, 76, of Middle Bass Island and formerly of Put-in-Bay died Monday, June 14, 2010 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, OH. She was born Sept. 18, 1933 in Everett, PA the daughter of Jesse and Maude (Connor) Twigg. She married Robert Burket on August 19, 1952 and he survives. Mrs. Burket was a RN working at the Ireland Army Hospital, Ft. Knox, KY retiring in 1984. She loved reading mystery novels and working cross word puzzles. Surviving are her husband: Robert; daughter: Deborah (Phillip) Navin of Atlanta, GA; grandson: Sean Navin; sister: Doris (Richard) Foor of Bedford, PA; sister-in-law Ann Mayer of Highland Beach, FL.
