Diane M. Jordan

Diane Jordan, 77 of Port Clinton, OH, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025, in hospice care at Countryside Care in Fremont, OH.

Diane was born in Port Clinton on May 20, 1947, and lived much of her life in the Marblehead and Port Clinton area. Diane was preceded in death by her parents John and Margaret Slobodian and her beloved aunt, Mary Ann Brown of Marblehead.

Diane’s brother Mark Slobodian still resides in York, Pennsylvania.

Diane attended Immaculate Conception School and graduated from Port Clinton high School in 1965. She was an exceptional bassoon player in high school, taking lessons at Oberlin Conservatory.

She graduated from Purdue University in medical education.

Diane worked as a respiratory therapist in Columbus and as a dental assistant for Mark Hablitzel here in Port Clinton.

She was a talented artist who worked in various mediums over the years including stained glass and abstract multimedia paintings.

This past year, she enjoyed working at the TAG studio with her friend Rita Fields on a glass mosaic topped table.

Diane was a member of Firelands Presbyterian Church.

Diane’s Celebration of Life service will be held at Firelands Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM.

Donations may be made in Diane’s memory to Firelands Presbyterian Church or to TAG , The Arts Garage in Port Clinton.
