Funeral: 10:30am at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 541 Church Road, Lakeside-Marblehead Delta Marceil Cooley, 92, of Marblehead, Ohio passed away with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at MagruderHospital in Port Clinton, Ohio. She was born on May 4, 1922 in Albion, Indiana, the daughter of the late Jacob and Sarrah (Pollock) Busz, Jr. On June 1, 1946 she married Gaylord G. Cooley and he preceded her in death on November 1, 1997. Delta transferred to the Sandusky Ford Plant from Monroe Michigan in 1956 where she was employed for 25 years as a production repair specialist until her retirement in 1981. She still has family in Monroe and Dundee Michigan. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Danbury Township; member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 83 in Sandusky; member of the VFW Post 2529 Auxiliary; and member of the UAW Post 1216 in Sandusky. She enjoyed wintering in Naples Florida for many years. Survivors include her children: Sharon (Felix) Polanco, Jr., Dennis (Helen Jean) Cooley, and Ronald (Barb) Cooley, all of Marblehead; step daughter: Shirley Sakai, Calistoga, California; grandchildren: Michelle Cooley, Melinda Cooley, Matthew Polanco, Gabriel Polanco; ten step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren: Hannah Polanco, Lily Cooley and Tyler Cooley; seven step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters: Marie Pfund and Iola Mae Busz; and brothers: Floyd, Frank and William Busz. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 10am until Funeral Services at 10:30am at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 541 Church Road, Lakeside-Marblehead, with Pastor Marvin Rettig officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
