Clyde A. Wyant, 65, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, and formerly of Columbus, Ohio, died Friday, May 21, 2010 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton. He was born in Columbus on July 22, 1944, a son of Clyde & Catherine (Weakley) Wyant. Clyde was a department manager for The Daily Reporter in Columbus for many years, retiring in 2001. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, loved boating, and was an avid fisherman. On April 20, 1967, he married the former Sandra Marinelly, and she survives. Also surviving is his son, Thomas Wyant, Columbus; brothers, Daniel (Donna) Wyant and Jerry Wyant, both of Columbus; brother-in-law, Terry Morbitzer, Mt. Sterling, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Sharon Morbitzer, and brothers Carl, David, John, and Ronald Wyant. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Oak Harbor, where friends may call after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday. Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, is handling arrangements for the family.
