Betty Ann Henry

Betty A. Henry, 76 of Elmore, OH died Sunday, January 24, 2016 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, OH. She was born August 12, 1939 in Fremont, OH to the late Louis and Alice (Goodeman) Gnepper. She was a 1957 graduate of Salem- Oak Harbor High School. On September 14, 1963 she married Nelson Henry and he survives. Betty was a homemaker for most of her life but she also did the bookwork and billings for her husband's carpentry business. She did retire from Riverview Health Care Campus where she worked in Dietary. She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Elmore where she had been the Treasurer of the Church for a number of years. She also spent much of her life in the former Sigma Alpha Sorority. In keeping with her wishes Betty was able to donate to Life Connections Tissue Bank. Survivors include her husband of 52 years Nelson of Oak Harbor; daughters Terri (Tim) Romberg of Orlando, FL and Sharon (Steve) Lockhart of Elmore, OH; grandchildren Matthew Romberg and Cody (Hannah) Lockhart; great- granddaughter Swayzie Lockhart; step- grandson Chad Lockhart; step- great grandchildren Ayden & Faith Lockhart; brothers: Robert (Carolyn) Gnepper of Peoria, IL and Art (Nancy) Gnepper of DuPont, WA; and sister Ruth Damschroder of Gibsonburg, OH. She was preceded in death by brothers Franklin and Nelson Gnepper. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8pm at the Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Elmore- Genoa Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 11am Friday, January 29, 2016 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Harris- Elmore Union Cemetery.
