Beatrice E. Bennett

Beatrice E. Bennett, 76, of Port Clinton, Ohio died Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Magruder Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on August 10, 1933 in Pasadena, California to the late Alden Thomas and Dorothy Marguerite (Clark) Miller. On September 26, 1952 she married Howard LeRoy Evans and he preceded her in death in October 1994. She married Richard Bennett on December 27, 1984 and he preceded her in death in June 1995. Beatrice was a manager of numerous apartments in California, retiring in the late 1990's. She enjoyed sewing, working on crafts and home interiors, and was a gracious hostess to many. Survivors include her sons: Jack D. (Martha) Evans, of Port Clinton, Ohio and Mark R. Evans, of Pontiac, Michigan; daughters: Veronica L. Wilson, of Flint, Michigan and Linda M. (Bob) Molnar, of Marblehead, Ohio; 18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons: Gary L. Evans and Max R. Evans; and a sister: Marjorie Miller. Per Beatrice's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation or services.
