Anna L. Wylie

Anna L. Wylie, 86, of Port Clinton died suddenly Friday, June 4, 2010 at Jewish Hospital of Louisville, KY. She was born April 22, 1924 in Frankfort, KY the daughter of Estille and Lucille (Vest) Warren. She married Ernest B. Wylie on March 7, 1941 and he preceded her in death on Dec. 16, 1983. Mrs. Wylie was a cashier for Catawba Market and a member of First Christian Church in Sandusky and the Rebecca's Lodge. Surviving are her sons: Ernest L. (Kathy) Wylie of Port Clinton, Roger (Debra) Wylie of Castalia, OH, Richard (Dianne) Wylie of Port Clinton; daughters: Yvonda "Sis" (Michael) Bates of Owenton, KY, Kathryn (Robert) Capacasa of Las Vegas, NV; daughters-in-law June Wylie and Garnetta Wylie; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and sister: Elizabeth Brown of Melbourne, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest and sons: Franklin and Steve Wylie, grandson Matthew and daughter-in-law Jeanne M. Wylie. Funeral services will be conducted 11 am Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton where visitation will be held Wednesday from 2 4 and 6 8 pm. Burial will be in Catawba Island Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Catawba Island Vol. Fire Dept.
