Ann A. Brandt

Ann A. Brandt, 87, of Port Clinton, died Saturday October 27, 2007 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center in Port Clinton. She was born May 17, 1920 in Port Clinton, the daughter of the late John and Annie (Stempnik) Marek. She married Harold G. Brandt, Sr. and he preceded her in death in 1968. Ann was homemaker and formerly employed at US Gypsum and Wilson Cabinet Company. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and the Polish National Alliance. Surviving is her son Harold (Gladys) Brandt of Port Clinton; granddaughter Mindy Brandt of Port Clinton; and great grandchildren Candace and Chase. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Walter and Bennie Marek and sisters Stella Chaffin and Julia Burnham. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Tuesday at the Neidecker, LeVeck and Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton. Prayers will begin at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Wednesday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 at the Immaculate Conception Church. The Rev. John C. Missler will officiate.
