Robert W. Pelton

Robert W. Pelton, 90, of Elmore, OH, died Monday, August 10, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, OH. The Lord received a kind and gracious man. Bob was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in England. He was a retired officer of the Toledo Police Department and was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Elliston, OH. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jackie; daughter, Dotty Pelton; and granddaughter, Katie (Terry) Knapp. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Rick Pelton; and his brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 14, 2015 at Trinity United Church of Christ, Elliston, where the family will receive friends after 9:00 A.M. Friday. Interment will follow in Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery, Elmore. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
